Hi!.....I am about to ask...

If you are interested in becoming a guy building and creating software architecture and writing excellent code, in a short amount of time, join a startup. If you want to go for further study and want some time studying for other exams, go for Infosys. You would not get anything good technically there as compared to joining a startup.

ok, let me try answering this... it actually depends, depends on you, depends on the type of startup, depends on the work you do there, your income & a lot lot other factors including your luck. I have met many people having the same dilemma, here's what they did along with the later response: 1. One joined a startup, it closed in a year & had to look for other company, had issues obviously 2. Joined a startup, continuing even after 3.5 years, earning & learning more than friends who joined some mnc. This even includes working a lot more than the mnc ones ;) I guess you might have got the whole point. If you really love coding & are a hard working person, you can go for startup. I have written "you can" because that does not mean you should. Going in a startup may be tiring but a good learning experience. on the other hand, going for an mnc, will give you a good brand, say you want to switch after 2 years (which people do), you will be having multiple options. Remember learning is everywhere, meaning may change place to place. This happened with me as well, I joined Infy, a friend of mine joined startup. We both are doing good, I had a great 3 years & then left for pursuing M.tech. from IITD. (you have got some time working in this mncs that you can think of yourself) My friend is still in the startUp doing really good (earning & learning more than what I should to have) Hope this clears somewhat of your confusion or it may increase some ;) let me know if you need any help. :) (upvote if you liked the answer)
