Is a bleeding sore on my external ear bad?

Sore throat.. itchy ear was bleeding. i'm very paranoid. any input would help?

  GIRL25, Supposedly we're not suppose to put those cutips in our ears passed a certain front area. It sounds like the itching became overwhelming for you and you went to far with the cutip. I've done this myself. But, I didn't cause it to bleed. You may have punctured your ear drum! I doubt it's brain damage! There's a lot between the brain and the ear! If anything you punctured your ear drum. If you didn't have a doctors appointment tomorrow, I'd say go to the emergency room! A punctured ear drum is nothing to mess with! By now I'm sure you've gotten help one way or another depending upon when you posted this! I hope all is well by now for you! Good luck!
