  The show ends with 2 episodes: Single Spaced and China Syndrome. Doug discovers that Carrie never did give up the Manhattan apartment and is really hurt by that. Arthur is getting married to a woman who wanted to marry him thinking he was gay and would make a good partner. When she realizes he is not gay, she leaves him and Arthur marries Veronica, Spence's mom, who was there at the wedding. Doug, feeling betrayed by Carrie, gets drunk. Holly shows up to the wedding pregnant without a "baby daddy." Spence is left without his mother to share an apartment with and Danny has a new female roommatete. Later, however, he ends up back rooming with Spence. Carrie and Doug argue and they both race to China to get the baby girl they will be adopting. On the plane ride there, they reconcilele and get the baby. In their hotel room, Carrie realizes she is pregnant. The show ends with Doug and Carrie back home sharing a happy family moment in the living room with both babies. Arthur barges in and announces that his marriage to Veronica did not work out and that he will be moving back in! The show ends with a montage of funny scenes of all the seasons to the song "milk and honey." The final scene shows the word "Thanks for the ride..."
