Isn't there a DOUBLE STANDARD on The Maury Povich Show!?

Hi Babe... To be honest...I had to "google" this Maury first, because we only get exempts of several american "talk-shows"(where no one ...."TALKS"...anymore, but screams, shouts, degrades and devaluate each other)....-smile- We have a weekly TV-show called:"Talk-talk-talk", which shows the most interesting (and funny) parts of diverse "talk-shows" from all over the world....So I get a chance to check the (newer)american shows as well...and let me tell you, honey...what I get to see there is UNBELIEVABLE & INCREDIBLE...especially this Maury-guy (and the other one with the glasses, who's name I don't remember)....I mean not only "double standard" as you've mentioned it, but such over-done, overly exaggurated "show-offs" which can't be for real !!! Sometimes I believe, that these "guests" get payed for acting "an ***" and whoever acts the outragest gets "an Oscar"...-ha-ha-ha- The only decent and "for real" moderator is this Steve Wilkos, who approaches the "guests" with the right tactical measures and confronts them appropriately. He's about the coolest moderator on american TV to me. But the acting and show-off on this Maury program are NOT sincere and seem more than fake to me. Those were the "GOOD-old-days" when we had serious & sincere talk shows like Phil Donahue for example, were the guests actually W E R E talking, discussing and debating in a civilized form & fashion !! What you see on this Maury guy is way "beyond" civilized behavior !! Animals act more civilized than most of his guests !!! It seems like one wants to "out-do" the prior one in the most bizarre and grotesc way !!! Oh well....enough said about the "lack of quality" and ethical values on the todys talk shows..let me lay back and relax in front of the TV (for a german talk-show)-ha-ha-ha- (we still have civilized folks on our shows and not such theatrical hysteric acting like on Maury's show...-smile- Send you all my love...Annette***
