How do they remove and upper ear piercing that go stuck in my ear?

My upper ear piercing went halfway inside my ear, and is stuck. I can't get the backing off, and it went in diagonally. I was told to go to emergency, how do they remove it?

Answer:
The ER people will use a pair of Forceps to clamp on to the earring and work it out of your ear. It should only take a few minutes.
