My tongue piercing is bleeding on and off, what do i do?

Actually i've had my tongue pierced for like five days now too and ive been doing everything i was told.. and like my tongue last night at 4 am started to bleed to and it wouldnt stop it wasnt alot, but like everytime i would move my tongue more blood would come out and it did it this morning also. i dont think i ripped it (ew) or anything but i was eating last night for the first time. or mabey i couldve bit it while i was sleep but then again what are the chances of that? but i need some advice too =]

You probably ripped it, but you should be fine. Just keep cleaning it and give it some time to heal, also it might be good to get that special mouthwash Ashley17 was talking about. Don't listen to Mystery and other people who are like that. Most of'em are just trying to scare you into not having a piercing. They're conformist losers who contribute to our society's ignorance. In the words of Richard Pryer they need to "have a coke and a smile, and shut the f*ck up"

I just imagine why anyone wants to pierce their tongue for? Isn't it painful? I can't even tolerate a piece of sweet on top of my tongue for a period of time [at least the sweet get smaller over time, but your foreign body is stuck onto your tongue all the time]. If it keeps on bleeding naturally the piercing must have hit a blood vessel, what else? See a doctor, take it off, before something nasty happens.

take the piercing off. as your tongue is not suppose to be pierced. u body is trying to heal the wounded area. but since you have something blocking it. its hard for it to heal. adn plus ur piercing moves when you get which causing it to start bleeding again. if u keep on bleeding like that, u might scare of the customers at your work. u don't want to bleed all ur blodd and faint do you....
