Can the same mosquito bite you twice?

Do mosquito's die after they bite? and will they bite the same person more than twice?

  • we have a mosquito in our house and it bit me does it die? and will it bite me again if it didn't die? & can mosquitos transfer aids? its a silly question but they bite multiple ...show more

  • Answer:

Not silly at all... they can transfer some things such as malaria... usually things like bloodborne hepatitis and HIV require a higher level of exposure and usually more than one encounter, depending on extent of initial exposure... so there has never been any evidence of these being transmitted. But no, they do not die after biting you and yes they can continue... That is bees that die after stinging... Kill that thing! Good luck!
