Which longboard should i buy...LONGBOARD HELP?

  Original is complete crap. ESPECIALLY for downhill. Here's my rant on them: http://www.silverfishlongboarding.com/forum/longboarding-resources-q/126824-i-want-apex-34-any-tips.html#post1297952843 Loaded is overpriced mediocre boards, and should not be used for downhill (flexy, very little concave). For downhill, you want something stiff. For sliding, you want some predictable (smooth transition from grip to slip, not gripping for a while then suddenly letting go) wheels to start off with (Orangatangs out of the question...). Wobbles are in the rider, not the board. Cruising is fine on any board, but you can't DH on a flexy cruiser. If you want a really nice setup, and are willing to wait for top-notch (hand-pressed, hand-cut, hand-finished, not mass produced like Original/Loaded) quality, get a Clutch Lamb Chop. It has a slight drop for locking you in on slides and to add a touch of drift, but it's not so low that you're going to have trouble gripping when you want to. Comfortable concave that won't cramp your feet on long cruises, but won't let your feet slip when DHing/sliding. Ideal setup would be Paris 180mm trucks and 70mm 82a Sector 9 Race Formula wheels (centerset/freeride shape). The trucks are great for everything, and the wheels are by far my favorites. Super smooth, predictable slides, very slow and even wear, and they're cheap.
