backyard in south louisiana (very hot and humid climate):tent, tarp,rain flap,sleeping bag (or air matress), some sort of gun (i like my .22 air rifle but a .22lr or .41o even a 20 gauge shotgun will do good if you want to rough it outside and live by the woods or forest for a while) some cement blocks to build a safe fire pit to cook my wild game or red meat from the ice chest, lighter, charcoal, and some fresh water. in the woods in winter in south louisiana: same things as for backyard, but a 12 gauge shotgun or .22lr with a good scope, and a little bit warmer clothes lined with fleece or wool.
