    Check out Lander's canoe. You can park in your camp site, there's hot water and bathrooms, and they have a ton of sites so you can ask to be placed away from everybody else. Also, you can rent a canoe from them and canoe I think 10 or 15 miles down a river, and they'll pick you up and bring you back to their site. Moreover, they have no rules about alcohol, but people are pretty respectful. So, you can drink there and have a party, but when you want to go to bed, it's fairly quiet. I can't remember exactly where it is, but it's only a couple of hours upstate. If your into hiking, look for a site near bear mountain. There are beautiful views of the Hudson from the Appilachian Trial on Bear Mountain. There's also a pretty cool tower and museum you can hike or drive to with sick views. I usually back pack around there, so I don't know any sites off hand, but I'm sure you can google around and find something you're looking for.

I have to agree with the previous answer. If you want "seclusion" you have to give up the idea of being near bathrooms and parking areas. Getting away from other people means you have to be willing to backpack into the woods and fend for yourself, far from your car and indoor plumbing. Millions of people within your geographic area also want a nice waterside campsite with all the facilities. You will have to learn to share those sites with them.
