    No, you don't need to pay for Wi-Fi in your PSP. To connect to the internet, go to settings -> Network Settings -> Infrastructure mode. Choose the scan option. Then choose the connection you want.You can name the connection whatever you want. Since it's free Wi-Fi, the connection probably does not have security, so choose 'none' in the security step. Just agree to all the other steps and test the connection. If it connects, It will be added to the list of connections in your PSP. Then open your browser, enter a web address in the address bar and choose the connection you just created. Make sure your WLAN switch is in the on position
