What's the difference between a US version PSP and a Japan version PSP?

What is the difference with the Japanese PSP and the US sold PSP, graphic wise?

  • I read that the Japanese PSP's screen was made by Sharp and is a better version than the US sold version. Is there any difference in graphics? Thanks

  • Answer:

If you are talking about the Regular PSPs there isnt much of difference than the Quality of Plastic. The Japanese NEW Slims like the all the colors shown on http://www.tronicvasion.com/product/00005990 the quality is much better in Sound than U.S. and is more capable to use and less to be bricked.

The PSP sold for US and North America use Samsung LCD screen. The PSP sold/made in Japan uses Sharp LCD. Sharp is reported to have crisper and clearer display than the Samsung... I like my Sharp LCD :) http://img20.exs.cx/img20/7670/sharpsamsung8dl.jpg
