How can I get the hinges on my Nintendo DS fixed?

  You should know that broken hinges is an EXTREMELY common problem with ALL Nintendo DS systems. They are very easy to break (especially on the Nintendo DS Lite), and sadly, they cannot be fixed or replaced. If the broken hinges are too much of a problem, you'd have to buy a new DS system. You could sell the broken one for some money, and just keep saving up whatever you make until you have enough for a new one. The 3DS is now only $170, so I think it's a great deal. Also, the last answer was correct - the 3DS and older DS systems do NOT play the same games as each other. You'd need to get a 3DS to play 3DS games. But at least it's backwards compatible, so you can play your original DS games on a 3DS.
