Why won't my psp start?

When I put my psp to charge the orange light turns on but when I try to turn it on it won't, why?

Answer:
Sometimes you have to let it charge for few minutes before it will turn on, especially if you've had the psp for a while. Wait ten minutes then try again. Hope that helps!
