Alright, to try to answer your question thoroughly, I'd probably have to explain these first, second, third person stuff. Imagine two people having a conversation. You're one of those people, and you're talking to someone like a friend of yours, or a police officer maybe because you got into some kind of trouble. Now you've got some sort of onlooker, just looking, or possible listening in on your conversation. Whether or not you're aware of him doesn't really matter as he's not part of your group or conversation. You're the star here. Your the center of the universe right now. Everything happening at this moment revolves around you. Therefore, we will judge these "persons" around you. From your eyes, your vision, what you perceive, that's first person. What your seeing is directly what your experiencing. Your viewing your world in first person. From your friends point of view, he's viewing you (and your world) in second person. "Your" second person, as technically he's perceiving the world from his view, but your the only important one here. The peeping tom in the bushes, the onlooker, or whatever he may be, is seeing/looking only. He's only part of your world indirectly since you have not directly acknowledged him. Therefore, he's is seeing you in "third" person. I hope this rambling helps. Hopefully you'll understand the difference now and why there are, technically, no second person shooters. Maybe if you took a third person shooter and had the camera face the character, but the screen/camera/player isn't actually acknowledged by the characte.
