Try Supreme Commander Forged Alliance. It was a VERY demanding game (and it's fairly cheap now). My computer started lagging like crazy-it's outdated) when all the players started getting 200+ units on the map. Play an online skirmish, get 300+ units out, engage in a battle. If your computer can stand that, it'll stand anything.

Crysis was developed in such a way that even the best computers of its time couldn't run it perfectly. Computers STILL can't max out Crysis and get perfect frame rates. Crysis 2 has higher requirements but I don't think you can tweak the graphics settings as high as you could with the original.
