How do I download hair in Sims 2?

How can i download things for Sims 2? Like hair and clothes if the Sims 2 site doesn't work?

EA closed down their Sims 2 store a few months ago right about the time they released The Sims 3. The only way you'll get any new stuff for your sims now is if you get the existing expansion and stuff packs.

Go into EA Games folder then the sims 2 folder and make a new folder.. then name this folder Downloads <<-- must be written exactly like this, with a capital D and a s at the end. When you download the stuff you must extract them into this folder :) Also you might have not downloaded the mesh if it requires one,to go with the texture of the hair/clothes, that could also be the problem. hope I helped

Be careful when you use Mod The Sims 2...It works..but for me, it isn't all that great. Just type in Sims 2 downloads on Google and read some Yahoo Answers. I found good sites but I've never used them yet. You have to have WinRAR to download stuff though from most sites..
