How to program a CAN-BUS arduino shield to control car windows?

How can I uninstall a program on Windows when the uninstall in control panel says I have a download in progress, but doesn't list what program is downloading?

• This happened after I installed Orbit Downloader. Now I am stuck and can't uninstall it, or any other software. I have rebooted many times, and told Orbit Downloader to not start though it does anyway. UPDATE: for the case of Orbit, I went to program files and deleted the program directly there.

  I don't know if this will help. If you can't uninstall orbit downloader through the programs and features in the control panel of your computer you may be able to do a system restore to an earlier point before you added that program (also in control panel under backup and restore or something similar depending on version of windows) and if this doesn't work you may need to reset your computer to its origional factory state but you will lose everything you have put on your computer unless you save the files you need to an external device. By the way you do have virus protection don't you? It's a bit like a raincoat for your computer so to speak - will save you from catching viruses in the first place if you don't over-ride it and download stuff anyway that is.
