you can download the lastest firmware for it, by hooking it up throught the usb and going to this site http://www.us.playstation.com/PSP/Downloads/SystemUpdate after you install it the lastest firmware it might help with your problem, good luck

Hi you, I was asking the same question as yours. I found that you need to have WEP Key from yr wireless router. I'm using a MAC computer and i got my WEP KEY nos from it and use it on my PSP, it worked. Now I just updating whatever its new for PSP. Hope you have fun, and follow the steps and use "easy", to scan for your IP address. Cheers, Hope that answers your query.
