XBOX 360 Live won't connect... Hours spent trying to get the connection... Help?

They way I connect t live was through a router. It was about $30 for a cheap one and I haven't had any problems connecting on live, I even have two 3 xbox's running through the one router. Although only two play on live at the same time. Hope that helps as I was a little confused by your question.
