How to fix the three red lights on Xbox 360?

I just got the three red lights on my xbox 360? Anything I can do to fix it or is it trash?

I bought this 360 refurbished from a local store about a year ago.

When that happened to me I just took out the hardrive (which is easy it just snaps off the back) then put it back on. It started right back up normally. Otherwise call Microsoft.

Send it to Microsoft, they'll fix it.
