Can xbox 360 browse internet?

i don't know if it will be able to go to youtube and all that other stuff. you should talk to someone who works at the store you are going to buy it from

Nothing to be confused about. Think of it as a games console, not a pc. As far as media applications are concerned, options aren't that good. The only way you can transfer data to the xbox hard drive is via r cd. You can stream things to it from your pc but there's a delay and bandwidth usage. You can plug external devices into the usb and play the content on screen ( jpegs and mp3) but you can't transfer that data to the xbox hard drive from the devices. There was too much empasis on this system being some kind of multi-media device, it isn't. It's not affective in that area and can't store things practically enough. It's Gimmicky. It runs really good games and it runs them well. You can communicate with friends using a basic messenger and either headset or keypad online. Thats as close to a pc as it gets. If you like good video games it's worth it... but if you want to use it like pc, expect disappointment.

No you cannot browse the internet. But you can play on line with other gamers. To play on line you need to hook your 360 up to your computer modem, either with an ethernet cord. Or if your modem can send a wireless signal (like mine, no router needed) or you have a wireless router then you get the wireless adapter which goes on the back of the 360

no i dont think so. but it can play from the internet!
