Is there much of a difference between the 4Gb and 250Gb of the new xbox 360?

Hi Abbie, The new standard XBOX 360 console has a 250GB built-in hard drive and a shinny, black finish. The new XBOX 360 Arcade console has a matt black case and 4GB of internal flash memory If you never go online, do not want to install games, and are not going to want to have media (music, video, etc.) stored on the console, then the cheaper Arcade console may suit you But, I would recommend spending the extra £40 for the 250GB console and taking full advantage of everything the XBOX 360 offers
