The one real problem for just female guinea pigs would be ovarian cysts. They happen more in older pigs, and they can just get them for no real reason, just like humans. The treatment is usually having them spayed, no ovaries means no cysts on them. They usually have hair loss on their sides from the cysts, because of the hormone imbalance. I had this happen to one of my pigs once.
