How do i know if my golden hamsters are having sex or fighting?

    They are having sex to release there anger, they are also fighting to relese there anger of being trapped in a cage. They probably get bored. BUt dont worry, it will end up like no strings attached.

Golden hamsters are Syrian hamsters with a golden coat. Syrians are HIGHLY territorial, I have no idea why you are housing them together. Get them away from each other, the female is probably in heat so they aren't fighting at the moment. If they WERE fighting you would know. There would most likely be blood. Go buy another cage, and put the other hamster in it. Never should you house two Syrians together.... And if you're pretty sure they are a male and a female why would you be housing them together in the first place? If you were purposely trying to mate them, then you would know the difference between mating and fighting.... You need to do research before you get hamsters.
