What types of Agriculture is done in NORTH AMERICA?

Chemical and genetics's . They are playing mad scientists over here with agriculture .

I don't think that you can find any type of agriculture that is not practiced somewhere in North America.

If you can name a kine of agriculture it will be found in North America. Even rice paddies, ginseng and hop growing. A lot of agriculture is large monoculture fields in crop rotation, with fertilizer based on soil testing to get yields that are economically optimized. Large field sizes for mechanical handling has to be the hallmark of American agriculture. This is still true for most vegetable crops too. Confined feedlot feeding of beef and pork, and multi-barn poultry operations are the norm, with very little free range poultry. There is still a lot of ranching, pasturing cattle in open range land. Irrigated land is widespread but not pervasive.

Soybean farming prevails over corn, actually. GMOs. Europeans don't like american corn

I was taught it was called "extensive agriculture" (ie, low inputs of fertilisers, energy over large areas for average yields) as opposed to the "intensive" systems of rural Europe (ie high inputs of fertiliser etc over small areas, for much the same average yields.) It may have all changed however.
