It is call carrying capacity. It is figured on per person in ones live. Which means 12 ac per person for food in their life time. That is figured world wide. It doesn't matter where one is. WATER is the driving factor and we are running out of it due to population growth. The planet has only so much water no more. It is all recycled that is why the carrying capacity is very important that is why population has to be discussed and dealt with anything less is spitting in the wind.
