  Hydrogen cars are electric cars, pneumatics won't be of any help. Hydrogen is not very useful in combustion engines as although the RON (Research Octane Number) is very high, the MON (Motor Octane Number) is very low hence an internal combustion engine would run fine without a load but would be disastrous as soon as a load was put on it. The science fair hydrogen car kits usually involve a tank of water and a solar panel hence the common misconception that electrolysis is a good way to get hydrogen and the common misconception of being able to run cars on water.
