go to "notification", right on the bottom, than "see all", then de-select what you don't want to appear on your own wall.

You can't. There is apparently a bug in the new facebook privacy settings that shows this information on your wall and you can't turn it off. The "old settings" that previously hid this recent activity don't work anymore.
