Its it against the law for your school to make a fake profile on facebook just to spy on you?

    What is he trying to get you guys in trouble for?? If your not breaking the law or you are not posting something against the school I don't see how they could expel you for a facebook account! But I don't think it is against the law, but I do think it would be a good fight against the school and the board! if he did not do anything wrong. If he put something up that was like a video defacing the school he is lucky that he only got expelled. But they can not expel you for no reason at all! there has to be a reason.So tell the whole story the people could help more. Not trying to be rude just think that there is more to the story.

depends on your countries laws, over here no its not illegal. at the time the information is posted to the internet its classed as a public publication. But it does highlight an important lesson be wary of what you put on the internet you never know when it will bite you on the *** :)

No, but schools don't even have to do that, they are given access to people's profiles by Facebook. Be very careful about what you put on that site because it is by no means secret to anyone, even if you think it is.
