well one easy way would be to change your dns settings to googles dns that gets around those internet blocks. heres a guide http://www.mediacollege.com/computer/network/dns.html just use 8.8.8.8 as your main and 8.8.4.4 as the backup

Not sure of why you can't access facebook on your computer at work. But I do know why you can't get farmville. You need the flash player downloaded on the computer for this application to work. Most public computers don't allow you to have this. It is possible that there is a program or some player or driver, that the computer needs for facebook to work, but the computer doesn't have it installed.
