    Hi guys, I think I found the solution to this problem. If you are using Firefox, please disable AdBlock Plus (or any other ads blocking plugin) temporary for this particular session before you open mail.live.com. If you are using IE7, please disable "Pop-up blocker". After once you login, you should be able to surf as per normal. It seems that Hotmail don't like people to block their inner ads.

I've tried the proxy thing and it works. But it seems to slow down my internet connection considerably.

Hey you can try this: Go to IE-->Tools-->Internet Options-->Connections tab--> LAN Settings--> tick the Use proxy server...--> address: proxy.singnet.com.sg port:8080--> press Ok and restart IE I had the same problem. But i use firefox on macbook. So i had to use the IE on pc everytime i want to check my mails. It works though. I hope it works for you.. =) good luck!
