I have Msn Messenger Plus Live but I've had many other Msn's aswell, like normal Msn and Msn Live but no matter what I have never been able to paste text into the name part of it =[ ...show more

Well, there is obviously nothing wrong with your name. You just need to be careful on how you paste it in. Make sure you copy from first square bracket ( [ ) to the last square bracket ( ] ) without having an extra blank space after them copied as well.
