    Control Panel, Add/Remove Program, Windows Live Messenger 9, Uninstall. Goto http://www.filehippo.com/download_msn_messenger/ and download the old version you liked. They have every version, but you are probably looking for the 8.5.1302 version. If not, find what you want, download, and install. back to normal.
