How do i get msn working again?

Msn isnt working? how do i get it working?

  • for a while now my msn hasnt been working, and i hav uninstaled it and then redownloaded it, and it keeps comming up with a message saying: WE CANT SIGN U INTO WINDOWS LIVE ...show more

  • Answer:

try using other IM client, like: aMSN: http://www.amsn-project.net/ pidgin: http://www.pidgin.im/ if those also fail may be you will need to contact microsoft, and no, you don't need to add your contacts again and probably doesn't have anything to do with vista, your contact list resides in a server not on your pc. RBX, man you are great with your witty answers, but this was a legit question not a dumb "bebo" question.

The quickest way to find out is by opening the side of your computer (trust me I work in IT) then going to the garage and finding the biggest hammer you have. Then go back to your computer, and take out the little rectangular silver thing, should have a couple cables connected to it, it will be connected to the thing that looks like a giant circuit board. Well too you, it would probably be easier if we just referred to everything inside the box that you get your porn through as "Johnny 5's Insides"....You know what, screw it I'm tired...just start whacking away with the hammer, don't target any particular device, that's just too difficult for you. Just start whacking away, beat the crap out of it for about 2-3 minutes and then go smoke a cigarette, by the time you come back MSN should be just fine. If it isn't then maybe you should call Microsoft and try to explain to them why a half retarded person is still trying to use MSN.

Try using www.webmessenger.msn.com or my favourite option www.meebo.com. They are free services that let you use you Windows Live account on the internet. They don't need to import a contact list from your computer either.

Instead of redownloading Windows Live Messenger , try installing Messenger Plus . But firstly , check to see that it isnt your account that has corrupted . So use another computer to log on and see if it works . If you can log in on that computer, then it obviously has something to do with the computer you're using . Oh , and btw it could be that you have a virus on your computer .
