How can I delete my MSN Messenger account?

Is it possible to delete MSN Messenger completely but still keep your hot mail account?

every time I turn on this computer Msn messenger pops up and it drives my parents crazy. Is there a way to permanently delete MSN messenger? And if you do, does it affect your hotmail ...show more

MSN messenger is simply a program to use your email name as a screenname to talk to people. Removing it will do nothing to your hotmail account. However, it the problem is that it is turning on when the computer starts up, simply go into MSN messnegers options and settings, and unclick the "start MSN messenger at computer startup" box (the actual message is probably different but should give you an idea)

Hey, you can uninstall MSN messenger and it wont effect your account at all, meaning your parents will love you again ;) you can of course still access it online: http://mail.live.com/ Hope this helped, if so please best answer me :)
