Why does my Mac WLM/MSN keep changing my display name to my real name?

OMG The Same Thing is Hapening to Me PLEASE ANYONE HELPPP! it keeps signing me in as Lucas. and when i change it then log it out it puts it back to Lucas. !!!! :@:@:@:@:@:@:@: HELP

I came across your question when looking for an answer to my own...the same one! I really don't know what happened but I use a mac as well and my display name is showing up as my e-mail address. If you find out how to fix this please tell me! thanks

yeah maybe it's a glitch in msn:mac right now because it just started doing the same for me a couple of days ago and it's really annoying... i'll change the name and sometimes it'll say something about it being invalid. even yahoo messenger for mac is acting up where it won't even show my display picture anymore...

Mine has just started to do it, I was hoping someone here knew . I have no idea how to change it. I've tried re-downloading msn, I've changed my password. The only way I got it to change was to change my name was to edit my profile and make it my personal message, but you would have to do that every time which is ridiculous.

It's doing the same thing to me to, every time I sign out and sign back in, I have to change the damn display name back and there's no way of editing it under the general options menu either. So how the hell do we fix this?
