For some reason I have 2 of them. One is under my maiden name the other is under my married name from a long time ago . I want to close them both & start a new windows live messenger ...show more

Go ahead and create a new account, then don't check your other accounts. After 6 months they will go idle and be auto deleted by hotmail.
