Closing/deleting your YouTube account will delete your videos, channel, and profile. You will also not be able to open a new account with the same user name. also note that If you are using your Google+ identity with YouTube, you will be unable to delete just your YouTube account on its own. You must downgrade Google+ in order to remove your YouTube account.
