    ok follow these steps: 1. Go to your windows movie maker and click 'tools', then click 'options', then click 'advanced' and choose video format : NTSC and aspect ratio : 4:3 2. drag & drop the movie into the windows movie maker 3. Once inside drag & drop the movie into the timeline and do whatever editing you wanted to do 4. click on 'tasks' then you should see on the left column a list of movie tasks - click 'save to my computer' 5. give a name to your video and click 'next' 6. choose 'other settings:High quality video(small)' and click 'next' 7. Once done click 'Finish' 8. Play the video on your computer and check everything is ok 9. open youtube and upload this video...by the way currently youtube takes very long time for uploading 10. Done!

I had the same problem. You have to change the file format in Windows Movie Maker. Press on SAVE TO MY COMPUTER on the left side.
