MBA in finance vs marketing . I don't have any clue since I come from a technical background. Please help which specialization has more job opportunities in India if done from institutions other than IIM?

Go and join any company or any BPO which suites your technical qualifications and stay there for some time  say 2 / 3 years and then think about MBA.  MBA in finance or marketing may enhance your "resume"'s capability to get interviews only when you had some experience.  Or ask yourself about whether you have the personality, zeal and confidence to move into Marketing or Sales and if yes, then join any tech or non IT organizations and then do your MBA Marketing in correspondence.  Any MBA other than IIM has not got the capacity to lift your resume to higher levels.  I suggest forget MBA, but concentrate to improve your skills  in only two or three areas,,like testing or coding or communications tec., but do not talk about start up.
