I'd like to put a song (not vid, just song) on Youtube, so how do I get it into video format?

easy, just put a background picture and add music on movie maker set photo duration for length of song

I think the BEST one would be windows movie maker 2. Just go to google and type in movie maker and I am sure it will come up. And once you found it, download it to your computer (btw it might take a few minutes for it to download) and then just put the song* on there and you got it~! =] but if you put the song on there, then technically it will still be a video, but it can just be a blank page. *btw you need permission to use the song if you didnt know....just get permission from the maker of the song then you can put it in the video. If you don't get permission then your video can get deleted!!!

You are no longer aloud to put songs, music videos, or concerts, or movies ect.... without permission from the maker. If you do have permission, go to windows movie maker and import song( you might want to add a pic of the artist to get more views). Once you have imported it, insert it into the movie and save it. Then upload.

I used to upload like 60 videos of this.. I opened windows movie maker. I dragged the mp3 file into the section where it said music or audio.. And then I made a new transition like powerpoint and just made a title.. Then I just saved it as a WMV file i think... Its pretty straight forward and once you open windows movie maker its pretty straight forward from their on lol

I think this might work try doing this: songname.mp3 <---change(rename) mp3 to avi like this: songname.avi i think it should work i do it on my cellphone and other stuffs

u can open windows movie maker and put in ur song. then, go to paint and save a blank white picture and put it as one slide. then the windows movie maker would make it a video but it will only display a white screen for like 5 seconds then turn back black until the song ends.

yeah its possible but u have 2 have windows movie maker...
