Why is my homepage set to google France?

Hello folks, Today when I opened up my Chrome browser my homepage went to Google France. I don't get this as I have not been using Google France, and I've not done anything ...show more

Are you from France or currently residing in France? Google automatically directs Google.com to the relevant country specific domain. You can still go back to Google.com by clicking on the link at the right bottom. If you do this while you're signed in then Google.com becomes your default site for search.

If your using Google .com then your server may well have found the easiest connection via one in france and so you get google france as a search engine portal. swap out the google.co. for google .co.uk
