Hi Tom, As others have mentioned, it takes Google a while to index your site. This could be anywhere from a day to a couple of weeks. It seems like forever, I know. The good news is, you can help Google find your site simply by letting it know your site exists. The first thing you will want to do is create a sitemap for your site. There are Wordpress plugins that will create this for you. One that I use is Google XML Maps: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/ Another nice plug-in is Wordpress SEO by Yoast. It adds several SEO features for your site and it includes a sitemap generator. http://yoast.com/wordpress/seo/ Both of these plug-ins are free. I have no affiliation with them. Once you have your sitemap in place, create an account with Google Webmaster Tools: http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/ If you already have a Gmail account, you can use that to login to Webmaster Tools. Once you are in Google Webmaster Tools, go ahead and add your site. You will need to verify your site by using one of several methods. I usually use the meta-tag option. After your site is verified, you can go ahead and submit your sitemap. It should be located in your root directory, and is typically called sitemap.xml. Once you do that, Google will stop by and index your site. My experience is this takes no more than a couple of days. You can stop back and see how many URLs Google has found, and if there are any issues with your site based on the sitemap you submitted. All of the advice given by others about inbound links is good advice. You might also look up "pinging" with regards to Wordpress. That is another way to tell Google, and the internet, about your site every time you add content to it. Best of luck.
