it should have come on your computer type in download windows media free in yahoo or google

if you get it from the microsoft site it is allways free

Win 98, huh? Hmmm...try this link - http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=wmp These are old versions of WMP, those might work. Also, some people swear by Sonique, WinAmp, or other media players. Try some of those out. Be careful, though, some of the players are more invasive than others. I like Sonique, myself

Microsoft doesn't provide much support for windows 98 anymore, but you can use WMP9 on windows 98. You might be able to find it on oldversion.com. If you want a media player that won't take much resources (since you're running windows 98) try VLC player. You can also find it at download.com

Go the Media Player software download page and download it. It is free last I checked. Run a Yahoo search for download windows media player and you should find it. I don't know about compatibility with Windows 98, might be time to upgrade.
