How do one find out on screen the destination from which an e-mail emanates without the help of the sender?

I often find I need to independently confirm the country and city of origin of a mail, I dont know enough to work it out for myself, Who Can Help???

all that information can be found in the extended headers of the e-mail (Received from) the bottom one is the ip of point of orgin.

whois can provide e-mail origin but you may have to buy a security software to access. I haven't had to run that program in some time.
