Blogs have become really popular these days...and lots of people go to different sites to view blogs or just news in general. So instead of going to all these sites....it collects the latest information from all these websites and puts it so a place where you can view it all. A great example of this is www.bloglines.com All you do is enter the sites you visit...if it has a RSS feed (all major sites do). Then each time they post news or something it will appear under that website name and view it all conveinently at one place.
