Where can I practice Rally Racing?

Where do you practice rally racing?

• When I was young I'd just go in the woods but now that Im older Im thinkin thats not so smart. Are there closed courses for practicing or what?

  Out of Denver we had CORE for a while. There was a dedicated 2 mile track and 8 mile track for ralliest equipped with every thing you wanted including downhill S turns with jumps. If you’re in Colorado it would be worth checking out www.coloradooffroadextreme.com. Over the years we’ve managed to get some of our local tracks to build us a rally course. Dirt Bike venues are a good place to ask as well. Or even if you find some guy with farm land willing to rent you a road. Aside from the good old blazing mountain roads at night, your options are limited. We’ve also managed to get our local Hill Climb series to allow for a rally class. This was a great option for ralliest in the area because it allowed us to make our own notes and practice with a co-driver. Maybe seek out your local hill climb club and see if they’ll let in a rally class.
