How much does it cost to take a tour of Space?

    Space tourists to the International Space Station have paid around $20m-$35m each. The main prerequisite is having that much money! There are also some basic health screenings, and you have to go through some training. I don't think they are selling any tickets at the moment, though. A much cheaper option is sub-orbital space flight. You only spend a few minutes in space, but Virgin Galactic intend to charge only $200,000 (a very expensive few minutes, but far more affordable than $20m). They are taking deposits now and expect to start flights in a year or two, I think.
