Does Flavio Briatore own a ranch in Kenya?

Did anybody see Flavio Briatore's interview on pit row with Peter Windsor?

  • What did he say after Windsor asked him about Brawn GP? My dad just started cracking up! Anybody know? BQ: Who's fault: Kubica, or Vettel?

  • Answer:

Didn't see the interview, but it's probably Flav trying to say one thing but ending up saying something else with an entirely different meaning. How his English is still so bad after 20 years in F1 is beyond me. BQ: For me Kubica made the mistake which led to the situation becoming close, and he should be held more responsible for the accident than Vettel. Kubica should have realised that he was unlikely to catch Button and concentrated on getting second place safely off Vettel. He had 3 whole laps to pass him and didn't need to force the issue at that point on the track - he certainly didn't need to press on into the corner side by side when he saw half a gap, or cut across and leave Vettel with the choice of braking or crashing. Vettel was right not to be intimidated into ceding his position, but he had already lost control of the car under braking, which was the error which allowed Kubica alongside in the braking zone in the first place. So Vettel's mistake + Kubica's rashness = accident. The stewards should have just let it go as a racing incident.

Didn't see the interview but I wonder how long it will take Flavio to compare the situation to when Renault had their mass dampers system and what happened with that?
